On Wednesday 11 December we are going to have a tea party, and what is a tea party without tasty cookies! This is why we are going to bake our own cookies. 

Timetable for the day: 

07:45 Early breakfast

08:20 Preparing the cookie dough and shaping the cookies in the Home economics classroom. 

10:30 Tea party

For the whole day to be a success, the students need to bring their own apron, their favourite cup and a placemat.  Please make sure the students come to school on time.

Dear parents,

We are delighted to invite you to a Shakespearean Tea Party, celebrating the peak of our unit on the Bard’s brilliant works. This event will showcase the hard work and creativity of the 8M and 8I students, who will be reciting their carefully crafted poems, soliloquies, and monologues inspired by his creativity and the timeless theme of love. Join us on Friday at 13:00 in the school auditorium as our young performers bring their words to life. In case you can't make it, we will record all of the performances and share them with the students on Teams so you will be able to watch it at home.

We look forward to sharing this special celebration with you!

British author, Louie Stowell, best known for her books about the Norse God Loki will visit on Monday, lesson 6, and give a talk to the 4M, 7M and 7I in the auditorium.

Dear DKIS community,

You are kindly invited to Ski Swap & Sale which will take place on Tuesday 26 November. Students, parents and school staff OŠ DK and DKIS will be able to sell, buy or swap snowsports gear.

There is no entrance fee or commission. Parents or students with parent supervision will be in charge of selling/buying/swapping the snowsports gear as well as setting the price.

Snowsports gear must be cleaned and in good condition. All unsold equipment must be taken back home after. Check the flyer below for more details.

PTA & svet staršev

On December 6-7 we are organising a night in school, which will feature fun and engaging activities, cooking, and a movie.  

The number of students who can participate will be limited to 30. First come, first serve. Students who have not exhibited principled behaviour, will not be allowed to take part.

Please get in touch with Ms Frelih, Ms Dežman or Ms Kores if you are interested in participating, or have any questions. Fill in the APPLICATION FORM and hand it in to Ms Mateja Kores.
