On Monday 4 May, we headed to Velden, Austria, with two MYP boys’ teams and two girls’ teams to compete in a friendly international beach volleyball tournament. The weather was perfect for an outdoor competition, and our teams were well-prepared and energised to give their best in every match.
Throughout the day, with short breaks in between, the students played numerous matches against Ljubljana International School and Carinthia International School. One of our boys’ teams came very close to reaching the finals, while one of our girls’ teams finished in an excellent second place, narrowly losing in the final.
We witnessed great sportsmanship and teamwork on the courts, and we congratulate all participants for representing our school in the best possible way.
