4M Sports Day – Cycling

On Friday 24 April, 4M enjoyed a successful and engaging Cycling Sports Day. The day was spent outdoors, where the students had the opportunity to develop their cycling skills across two different courses and try out road bicycles on site.

The event ran smoothly, with everyone focusing on key techniques such as handling round turns and navigating both artificial and natural obstacles. The varied activities made the day both challenging and enjoyable, allowing the students to build confidence while having fun.

Guided by the mentors from the POGI team, the students took part in a range of practical tasks designed to improve control, awareness, and overall cycling ability. All participants successfully completed the training session – well done to everyone involved.

Looking ahead, the group will continue practicing, particularly riding in traffic in small groups and refining their skills on obstacle courses. With a bit more training, they will be well prepared for the final practical exam.
