Danila Kumar International School is obliged to ensure the accessibility of its main website in accordance with the Zakonom o dostopnosti spletišč in mobilnih aplikacij (ZDSMA) (Websites and Mobile Applications Accessibility Act) and, where appropriate, with relevant European standards.

1. Level of Compliance
Zakonom o dostopnosti spletišč in mobilnih aplikacij (ZDSMA) (Websites and Mobile Applications Accessibility Act), in point 2 of paragraph 1 of Article 3, classifies kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools as exceptions and obliges them, regarding website and mobile application content, to provide information related to:
- basic information about the institution,
- information about the enrolment process, and
- administrative information (such as the school calendar and schedules).
If this information is accessible in accordance with the law via another website or mobile application, it does not need to be provided on the kindergarten, primary school, or secondary school website or mobile application.
Basic information about the institution, information about the enrolment process, and administrative information are, in accordance with point 2 of paragraph 1 of Article 3 of the Zakonom o dostopnosti spletišč in mobilnih aplikacij (ZDSMA) (Websites and Mobile Applications Accessibility Act), published on the website www.dostopen.si.
Based on self-assessment, we find that the basic information about the institution, information about the enrolment process, and administrative information published on the website www.dostopen.si comply with point 2 of paragraph 1 of Article 3 of the ZDSMA. Nevertheless, we will continue striving to improve the accessibility of other content that is not yet fully adapted to the requirements.
2. Inaccessible or Less Accessible Content
Despite the exemption under the ZDSMA, we continuously monitor and improve the accessibility of the website. However, some published content may not meet all accessibility requirements as defined by the Act for organizations that are exempt under the ZDSMA.
Examples of such content include:
- published articles and news
- PDF documents
- complex tables
- videos without subtitles
- images or graphics containing text
