As part of Slovenian Cultural Heritage Week, held this year under the theme Heritage in the Whirlwind of Change, and Danila Kumar Day, we warmly invite you to the opening of the exhibition Between the Threads of Tradition, which will take place on Tuesday 13 October 2026, at 10:15, on the second floor of building II.
The exhibition will feature artwork created by students who explored traditional patterns and ornaments from Slovenia and different cultures around the world. During the creative process, the students learnt about characteristic motifs, colours, and pattern designs, using them as inspiration for their own artwork.
Through this exhibition, we aim to highlight the diversity of cultural heritage, emphasise the importance of its preservation, and demonstrate how traditional motifs can take on new forms through students’ creativity.
