On Tuesday 21 April, the PYP (1–5) students visit Ljubljana Zoo as part of activities for Earth Day. There they will learn about the importance of preserving nature, animal species, and their habitats.
The students will start the day at school at 08:20. In the classroom they will have a discussion about the importance of nature conservation and they will also dedicate time to organise their classrooms and lockers.
The students will be at the zoo from 10:00 to 12:00 where they will be observing and learning about animals and their habitats. They will also have an opportunity to handle selected types of insects.
The students should come appropriately dressed, wearing suitable footwear for the weather on the day of the visit, and be equipped with a backpack for school snack and a bottle of water.
We will conclude the day and return to school at around 12:30. Lunch and the Afternoon Programme will take place as usual.
We look forward to an educational and enjoyable day.
Kind regards,
Maja Kastelic
