1M Students Put Theory into Practice with a Delicious Twist!

As the school year comes to a close, the 1M students wrapped up their units on Plants and Water by turning classroom theory into hands-on learning. To celebrate their progress, they prepared a fresh fruit salad! This fun and educational activity helped the students observe different fruits and their pits, reinforcing their science knowledge. They practiced fine motor skills while safely cutting the fruit and demonstrated responsibility by bringing their own aprons and chopping boards from home.

But the highlight of the day was sharing the fruit salad with their reading buddies from 5M. These older students supported 1M throughout the year – reading together and even helping with snack delivery. The act of sharing encouraged gratitude and thankfulness, turning a simple treat into a meaningful gesture of appreciation. It was a joyful and tasty way to celebrate learning, friendship, and the spirit of giving.
