6M Library Treasure Hunt

For their April library lesson, the 6M students participated in a library treasure hunt. To begin with they became acquainted with the Slovenian library programme for searching for books – Cobiss – searching for specific books in the school library based on prompts. Then, they cited the books according to the MLA9 citation style. In the second part of the lesson, the students went on a treasure hunt in the library, trying to find five books based on clues. They had to cite the books as well. The most successful hunters received a useful prize. At the end of the lesson, the students reported that they had learnt how to search for books online, how to locate them in the library as well as gained some suggestions for what to read next.
