On Friday 14 March, PYP 1 – 5 and MYP 1– 3 of the international school came together for an exciting Sports Day, held at Jesenice. The event was filled with fun, teamwork, and a variety of activities that left the students energized and smiling.
The day began with the students enjoying themselves on the ice rink, gliding and laughing as they warmed up for the main events. Afterwards, the students were divided into groups and participated in two additional activities, each offering a unique experience. Some students engaged in martial arts classes, learning discipline and self-defence techniques. Others tried their hand at bowling, showcasing their precision and teamwork. For those with a passion for dance, a hip-hop dance session provided the perfect opportunity to move and groove. Table tennis enthusiasts battled it out in friendly matches, while the older students attended a first aid course, gaining valuable life skills.
Throughout the day, the students participated with great enthusiasm and curiosity, fully immersing themselves in the activities. The event was a resounding success, fostering camaraderie and a sense of achievement among the participants. As the day came to a close, the students returned to school with smiles on their faces, already looking forward to next year’s Sports Day.
This year’s Sports Day not only promoted physical activity but also highlighted the importance of trying new things and working together. It was a day to remember for all involved.
