Dear all! 

On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, the singers of the united children's choir OŠ Danile Kumar will perform in the centre of festively decorated Ljubljana, at the invitation of the City of Ljubljana. Once again, they will sing on the steps in front of the Town Hall at this traditional event, which will start at 17:00. Our choir performs at 18:40.

We will meet at 18:00, at Robba's fountain, where the children will form a united choir. 

You are kindly invited to celebrate with us.

An invitation to the Christmas Bazaar by the PTA

🏆 An exciting International Basketball Tournament featuring 5 boys' teams and 5 girls' teams will take place at the Jezica Sports Hall. The event promises intense matches and outstanding displays of skill from 10:00 to 15:00.

On Wednesday 13th December, the kindergarten students will join our school's basketball team at a game in the Ježica gym. The pupils will perform a dance before the game. 

We will leave school at 08:20, so please be punctual. 

School will provide snack for all the students. 

Arrival back at school is planned for before lunch, which will be served at 12:00.

The parents are welcome to join us at our regular gym lesson on Monday 18th December at 09:55. 

You will be able to participate in some fun relay games with your kids, so bring a smile and sports equipment (at least indoor shoes). 

The lesson will end at 10:30.

On Tuesday 11th December, the kindergarten students will bake cookies, and the next day, on Wednesday 12th December, we will have a tea party. 

The pupils need to bring an apron for baking, a place mat and a tea cup for the tea party.

On the 19th of December during the Christmas bazar there will be a charity event for under-privileged children. Prizes included. Entry fee - 2€. Please register for the tournament before 17th of December. Participants will get 2 Christmas gingerbread biscuits for free. The exact place and time of the event are still to be announced.

Dear DKIS community,

You are cordially invited to a tea party during which our grade 8 students will recite their love sonnets and soliloquies. These texts are the culmination of our first unit in Language and Literature, in which the students explored the concept of creativity through the analysis of William Shakespeare’s poetry and prose, and used the timeless topic of love to express their own thoughts and feelings.

As the pupils have been working diligently to prepare their verse, it is only right to celebrate their achievement with an English tea party.

The event will take place on Thursday, 30 November 2023, at 12:20 in the auditorium.
