On Tuesday 4 February, the kindergarten students will be going skating.
Departure details:
Time: We will be leaving from school at 07:30. Be punctual!
Transportation: We will be using public transport to get to and from the skating rink.
What to wear:
Please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather and skating activities.
They should wear: ski overalls, ski gloves and a warm hat.
Equipment to bring:
Ski helmet: Safety is our priority, so please make sure your child brings a ski helmet.
Small backpack: This will be used to carry a snack, which will be provided by the school.
Skating arrangements:
The children will receive skates at the skating rink. A teacher will be present there to provide skating instruction and support.
Kindergarten teachers
On Thursday 6 February the kindergarten students are going to see a musical story A Room on the Broom at the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre. The children need to be at school by 08:15 in the morning. They should bring small backpacks for snack, which will be provided by school. We will travel by public bus. We will return to school at around 12:00 noon.
Kindergarten teachers
The 5M students will have a science day on Thursday 30 January. The students will have activities organised in school as a part of their work in the Unit of Inquiry and maths. We will start at 08:20 and finish with all activities by 12:05.
Afternoon program will be organised as usual.
On Wednesday 15 January, the 2M students will explore food chains and the interconnectedness of living organisms. All activities will be hands-on – they will create a food chain model; discuss to understand the roles of producers and consumers, investigate the energy flow in the environment, and play games to deepen their understanding of food chains.
The science day will start at 08:20 in the 2M classroom. We will finish at 12:00 midday and the afternoon programme will continue thereafter.
