On Tuesday 16 June, our students enjoyed a fun and hands-on science lesson all about plants. We began by discussing the different parts of plants that we eat and worked together in groups to complete a quiz about vegetables and where they come from on the plant.
Then it was time to roll up our sleeves, put our aprons on, and put our knowledge into practice by preparing a delicious fruit salad. After making a tasty treat for ourselves, we decided to share it with our school cooks as a small thank you for all their hard work and the delicious meals they prepare for us every day. We think we surprised them, and seeing their happy smiles made our day even more special.
