On 26 September, which coincidentally is European Day of Languages, the PYP students had a collapsed day on multilingualism and internationalism. Within different workshops, the students learned interesting facts about various world languages, investigated sign language, created posters with frequently used phrases translated into their respective mother tongues, and shared facts about their linguistic cultures. The collapsed day helped students develop an appreciation of our linguistic diversity as a key element of intercultural understanding.
