On Friday 19 June, the MYP 1 and MYP 2 students rotated around five interactive stations. Activities included making smoothies using both tropical and local fruits, playing international board games designed by students, decorating tiles with cultural symbols and patterns, and completing a scavenger hunt featuring clues linked to internationalism. The day concluded with a variety of sports activities that encouraged teamwork and fun.
On Monday 22 June, the MYP students were joined by PYP 4 and PYP 5 students for another day of celebration and collaboration. Together, they took part in quizzes, decorated tiles with international-inspired designs, learnt animal idioms in various languages, and enjoyed a range of unique sporting challenges. The festival ended with a reflection before spending time outdoors together.
The Festival of Diversity provided a meaningful opportunity for students to learn from one another, appreciate different perspectives, and strengthen the sense of belonging within our international school community.
