PYP 2 – 4 Sports Day – The Path of Remembrance and Comradeship
On Thursday 7 May, PYP 2 – 4 had a Sports Day walking on the Path of Remembrance and Comradeship. Honouring those who suffered and resisted fascism.
We started our journey by walking from school to the Sava River and continued to the small farm at Rekreacijski in izobraževalni center Sava (RIC Sava). There, we enjoyed a snack and a well-deserved break. The farm was full of exciting activities, friendly animals, and a playground where everyone had lots of fun.
After the break, we continued our walk to checkpoint KT4 in BTC City Ljubljana, where we took a group photo to remember the day. Then we followed the Path near to Žale Central Cemetery, walked through Stožice, and finally returned back to school.
In total, we walked 9.5 kilometres! We came back tired but very happy, especially because the weather was beautiful all day long. We showed great energy, determination, and team spirit.
