On Tuesday 14 April, the 4M students went on a tour of religious sites in the centre of Ljubljana. First, we visited a mosque, where we had a guided tour and learned about Islamic beliefs and practices. Next, we visited the Franciscan Catholic Church, where we explored the children’s chapel and the baptistery. After that, we continued to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Primož Trubar, where the priest shared a lot of information about the sanctuary, its rituals, and answered many of our questions. Then, we arrived at the Orthodox church, where we were impressed by the beautiful wall paintings and the burning candles. Lastly, we visited the Kadam Meditation Centre, where we learned about Buddhism and the life of the Buddha, and also participated in a short meditation session.
