MYP Service as Action – March

In March, some students from 6M and 7M once again visited the retirement home in the school’s vicinity, as well as the kindergarten and presented a specific culture to their classmates in the MYP. The 6M students painted pottery with the retirement home residents, while some girls from 7M prepared a selection of activities for the kindergarten students to help recognise colours and practise collaboration. Additionally, some girls from 7M presented the South African culture to the MYP students through different activities, such as colouring symbols, matching mythology and identifying locations on a map. The preparation for the April activities are already in full swing and we are looking forward to what the students will come up with next.
