Giant Slalom School Competition

On Tuesday 10 March, the annual school competition in giant slalom took place at the Rogla ski resort. This year, Danila Kumar International School was represented by our student, Matic Posavec, from 7M, who competed in the event for the first time.

Matic start number was 108. By the time he began his run, the ski slope was already quite worn and the temperatures were high, which made the conditions more challenging for the competitors. Despite these demanding circumstances, Matic approached the race with great enthusiasm and determination.

Most importantly, Matic enjoyed the experience very much and gained valuable insight into what it is like to compete in a giant slalom race. Participating in such an event is a wonderful opportunity to build confidence, sportsmanship, and skiing skills.

We congratulate Matic on his effort and courage in representing our school, and we hope he will proudly represent Danila Kumar International School again next year.
