Our school FLL team – Dominant Owls – decided, as part of this year’s project, to help archaeologists with tracking and storing artifacts. We are collaborating with the National Museum and the company Špica. Our goal is to find a technical solution for the National Museum, with the support of Špica, by introducing RFID technology into the museum.
The idea is to equip artifacts with RFID chips already at the excavation site, which would connect the artifacts to a database. This database would contain all the necessary information about each artifact and would also record when artifacts enter or leave the storage depot. Such a system would make it easier to record information about artifacts and track their location.
We would also like to thank the members of the School Fund for supporting our work.
