National Handwriting Day

National Handwriting Day is celebrated annually on 23 January. To commemorate the day, library lessons in the MYP in January have been dedicated to celebrating with different activities. The 6M students discovered different ways to take notes and put them into practice. In addition, the 7M students were researching and using different writing systems from around the world. And in 8I, the students were learning how to improve their note-taking skills. Writing by hand helps the students stay focused, listen and read actively and remember the information better; therefore, it is an important skill that needs to be nurtured, even in today’s technology-driven world.
