We successfully celebrated Independence and Unity Day on Wednesday 24 December with a warm and meaningful school event that brought together history, music, dance, and a festive spirit. Through a creative news-style program, the students reminded us of the key moments of Slovenia’s independence, while also smoothly transitioning into the joy of the Christmas and the New Year holidays.
The celebration featured excellent performances by our choirs, Orff group, dancers, and school band, highlighting the students’ talents and teamwork across age groups. The principal’s address thoughtfully connected the values of independence and unity with our school community, making the message especially powerful.
The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving the audience with a strong sense of pride, togetherness, and holiday cheer. We thank all students, teachers, and mentors who contributed to making this celebration memorable and inspiring.
