The Slovenian Cultural Day offers the opportunity to visit many cultural places in Slovenia. The MYP 3 students took advantage and booked a tour of the Viba Film film studios in Stegne.
We were allowed access to the production facilities, the studios, the wardrobe, the post-production and montage facilities. It was truly thrilling to peek behind the curtain and see how professional filmmaking unfolds. The visit concluded with a viewing of 5 short stop-motion animated films by the acclaimed animator Kolja Saksida.
Seeing how much work and material goes into creating the magic we enjoy on the big screen was inspiring!
