Slovenia’s Independence and Unity Day 🗓

26 December is a national holiday commemorating the official proclamation of the Slovenian independence referendum, which took place on 23 December 1990. Schools celebrate this important moment in Slovenia’s history on the last day of school before the start of the Christmas holidays. Therefore, the school day on Wednesday 24 December will have a more festive note. The students will attend an in-school cultural event performed by all the school’s choirs, instrumental groups, and individual students from the national and international departments, celebrating both the state day and the upcoming Christmas holidays.
