On Tuesday 18 November, 5M enjoyed a special Sports Day. We were joined by Mr Dejan Milenković and Mr Aleš Fabijan, basketball coaches and authors of Feel Good Basketball, supported by the Basketball Federation of Slovenia. The atmosphere was fantastic, and we learned a great deal – as you can also see in the photos.
At the end of the event, we had the opportunity to try playing basketball in wheelchairs, as the International Day of Tolerance was on 16 November. The students experienced firsthand how challenging wheelchair basketball can be. They also had the chance to speak with Mr Andor Palkovič, who shared his life story with us. We were truly engaged and inspired by his words.
We can all agree that we had a very interesting day, full of new knowledge and unforgettable experiences.
