Service As Action in October

The first students from 6M and 7M visited the Retirement home and the kindergarten respectively and presented a specific nation’s culture to their classmates in the MYP. Quite by chance, it would appear October was a month of working with clay – the 6M students made pottery out of clay with the retirement home residents, a group from 7M made mini men from clay with the kindergarten students and another group from 7M visited the MYP students and presented the Indian culture. The students made clay oil lamps (diya), clay elephants to represent the God Ganesha and coloured powder drawings (rangoli). The preparations for the November activities are already in full swing and we are looking forward to what the students will prepare.
