1M Visit the Slovenian School Museum

On Friday 3 October, the 1M students visited the Slovenian School Museum, where they had the chance to experience a real lesson from the past. They sat at old wooden desks, wore old-fashioned clothes, and followed the instructions from a very strict teacher – just like children did more than 100 years ago.

During the lesson, the students practiced writing on wooden and wax slates, giving them a hands-on feel of how school used to be in the past.

Although they found the experience fun and educational, the students all agreed, “We still like our school better!”
