On Tuesday 17 June, the 5M students spent a day in the MYP, where they met some of their future teachers and explored the subjects that await them next year. The day began with a short tour of Building 3, followed by a Q&A session with the MYP coordinator and a fun Kahoot! quiz to test their knowledge of the MYP. Next, the students took part in a design lesson, where they worked with wood and used a pyrography pen to create personalised coasters. In humanities, they explored the Olympic Games, followed by a theatre session in which they created soundscapes and shared their own interpretation of a given poem. Finally, they played Bingo and conducted an experiment in Sciences.
The students were very enthusiastic and engaged, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them into the MYP next year!
