On Friday 9 May, the day Slovenia and many other countries celebrate victory in World War II, some of the MYP classes participated in a meaningful tradition: the annual hike along the Path of Remembrance and Comradeship (Pot spominov in tovarištva). This path marks the historical memory of Ljubljana being encircled with barbed wire during the WWII occupation.
We were fortunate to enjoy beautiful weather, which made the experience even more memorable. 6M completed the hike from school to Koseze Pond and back, while 7M and 7I took the route along the Sava River, continuing toward BTC City and via Gramozna jama, before returning to school.
Well done to all the students for their dedication, perseverance, and respectful commemoration of this important day in our shared history.
