To celebrate Earth Day, the kindergarten were introduced to a variety of books related to our planet, including topics such as habitats, animals, plants, and environmental preservation. They were encouraged to explore the books freely. After some time, they were invited to share what they had learned and to discuss the ways we can be kind to our planet, animals, and plants.
Following the discussion, each child created a drawing to show how they are already helping – or can help – take care of the Earth. These individual pieces of art were then combined to create a beautiful Earth Day poster.
