On Tuesday 22 April, we celebrate Earth day. For this reason, there will be many activities dedicated to the promotion of sustainability and issues connected to the preservation of our environment. We should remember that the relationship with our planet is like no other – it should be based on mutual respect, appreciation and care.
In order to celebrate Earth, on this day or throughout the week you are invited to wear Earth colours (green, blue, brownโฆ) or something second hand โ the fashion industry is one of the greatest polluters on the planet, along with fossil fuels and electrical waste.
The beginning of April also marks the start of gardening โ every Tuesday during the main break, and, weather permitting, other days too. All announcements will be displayed next to the main office. 6 students a time can attend the gardening session and 4 visits must be accrued in order to complete the short term commitment.
