International Mother Tongue Day 🗓

On 21 February, we celebrate International Mother Tongue Day and this year it is the Silver Jubilee Celebration. Since many languages are at risk of disappearing, we will dedicate one English lesson in each MYP grade to promote and celebrate the mother tongues spoken in each grade. The students will learn why it is important to maintain and develop their mother tongues as well as respect and learn other languages. The school community is invited to celebrate the day with us by emphasizing the importance of learning the mother tongue through speaking, writing, reading and listening outside of school as well.
