The five-day field trip to Debeli rtič for the 3M and 6M students was an enriching experience filled with opportunities for growth and fun. In the picturesque town of Koper, the students explored historic streets, and settled into the Hotel Bor at the youth spa resort, beginning the week with a swimming test.
Each day offered diverse activities aimed at developing self-management, social skills, and independence. The students took responsibility for their rooms, supported each other, and worked together during scavenger hunts, sports games, and creative presentations of their rooms. Cultural workshops, such as crafting traditional Istrian instruments, enriched their experience, while swimming sessions highlighted their progress.
Other activities included forest adventures, empathy workshops, a magic show, and a disco. The trip concluded with a final swimming assessment, where the students showcased their improvements.
Overall, the week promoted friendships and independence, leaving students with lasting memories and skills that reflect their enthusiasm and growth.
