“Less is more, less is enough.”
On the winter solstice, 21 December, the MYP students will participate in various activities connected to celebrating Christmas more sustainably, and aligned with the quiet and restful winter season – creating less waste through recycling, reusing, repurposing, and discovering that non-material things matter brings greater joy.
For this reason, we also encourage the students to bring one unused, second-hand item to donate to the classroom raffle – toys, games, school supplies, mugs or T-shirts, or such items they wouldn’t mind receiving themselves.
