The students first had the chance to get up close and touch a centipede in the Tropical House. They reviewed the concepts of who’s the prey and who’s the predator, the typical features of these animals, and the connections between animals and plants. Later, they saw chinchillas, porpoises, spiders, frogs, monkeys, snakes, and other exotic animals. They also entered the room with lemurs and observed the environment where they lived. We had a great day enjoying the company of tropical animals and their living environments.
