On Thursday, May 11, the students of 4M will have a sports day on the topic of cycling and road safety. We will start with the activities at 08:20 and finish at 12:05. Students will be able to practice their cycling skills on an obstacle course and gain knowledge on road safety. Students should bring their own bicycles and helmets (bicycles should be equipped with rear, front lights, and side and rear reflectors). The school also has a few bicycles available for students who choose not to bring their own.
Students should wear light sport clothes with appropriate footwear. A water bottle and sun cream is recommended.
Snack, lunch and the afternoon programme will be organised as usual.

KINDERGARTEN SPRING CAMP
The kindergarten students are going on a spring camp to Obolnar Farm in “Dolenja vas pri Čatežu”.
We are leaving at 08:00 on Wednesday 17 May from the Tuš Ruski carpark and will return to the same place on Friday 19 May . at around 15:00.
Please come to the Tuš carpark at 07:45 (15 minutes before departure time)

Dear parents,
On Thursday, 11 May 2023, we will hold our second portfolio night, where you will be able to see you children’s work, which provides a comprehensive view of their learning journey. Take this opportunity to observe the progress they have made and support them in their future endeavours.
The event will take place in their homeroom classrooms, starting at 16:00 and lasting until 17:30, which means you can attend the event together with your children at any time during this time slot.

HELP OUR SCHOOLMATES
Charity Fair on Thursday, 11 May 2023, at Danila Kumar International School. The event will take place on the grass playground of building II and it will begin at 4.30 p.m. with ORF and grade 1 performances. The Opening ceremony and fair will start at 5 p.m. and after that we will continue with the performances of grades 2, 3, 4, 5 and the choir. The auction will start at 6.20 p.m.
(In the event of rain, the programme will take place in the sports dome and in the school hall).
Students, together with their mentor teachers,
have especially created an artistic programme for this event, as well as an exhibition of their own
Artwork, which will be available for donations.
We invite you to contribute something
sweet to the fair.
We also invite you to creativity workshops, auction, lottery and a book fair.
We warmly welcome you to join our joyful occasion!

- All funds raised will be used to help underprivileged students, and provide the possibility for such students to participate in activities such as field trips and excursions.
- All home-made cakes and biscuits must be suitably packed /wrapped for donation. Recipes and ingredients must also be displayed together with the products.

The International choir will sing at the event Pomoč sošolcu (Help our Schoolmates) joining together with the national department’s choir Navihani intervali. They will sing two songs, Srečala sem dimnikarja (Igor Podpečan) and Mlade oči (Jure Robe – žnik). The event takes place on 11 May at 16:30.
