European Mobility Week 16 – 22 September 🗓

“SHARED PUBLIC SPACE!” – “Udoben javni prostor – za vse.”

European mobility week is a project organized by the European Union to raise awareness about sustainable ways of travelling and transport, as well as the importance of saving energy. In the present day, with the emergent and obvious effects of climate change, it is important to reconsider our habits. Another important aspect to remember is public spaces. With careful consideration we can co-create better living spaces for all. So, do we use public transport, bike, share our vehicles? As adults, we are role-models and those who are held accountable in the end. So, let’s do the right thing, as time is running out! At school, there will be different activities taking place highlighting the topic. The Kazina Dance School is promoting movement and sport through dancing activities, the city of Ljubljana is also organizing a cycling and hiking educational trip… Let’s move and live sustainably! Project – Active Days 🗓

This project is now in its eighth year. The point of this project is to motivate students to be more physically active. To successfully participate and complete this project, students the pupils have to be active for 100 days during the current school year. The pParents have to sign their child’s student’s agenda and write what they did. Some students have already completed this project, . Great jobfor which they are to be commended.! The deadline for the completed project is the end of May. The sStudents have to hand in the completed chart to Mr Denis.

SAVE ENERGY! – Var(č)ne poti – Trajnostni transport – Sustainable transport European mobility week is a project, organised by the European Union to raise awareness about sustainable ways of travelling and transport and the importance of saving energy. Today, with the emergent and obvious effects of climate change it is important to reconsider our habits. Do we use public transport, bike, car share? Us adults  are role-models and those who are held accountable in the end. So, let’s do it right! At school there will be different activities taking place in light of recent events. The dance school Kazina is promoting movement and sport through dancing activities, the city of Ljubljana is organizing a cycling tour… Let’s move sustainably! Ms Katarina and the “Sustainable School Gang!”
