On Friday 18th November we went to visit The House of Experiments. After the bus ride to the city centre, we had a short stroll to reach our destination. Upon arrival friendly staff greeted us and we immediately went to explore. And in no time, it was our time to say goodbye and go back to school.
Time really flies when you are having fun.

On Thursday, 17th November, the PYP (KG – grade 5) and MYP gave presentations to parents about the different features and aspects of the IB Philosophy. PYP students guided us through the whole inquiry-based learning process and the development of the 5 essential elements of the PYP: knowledge, concepts, skills, attitudes and action, while the MYP students prepared stands with 12 different topics covering everything from ATL skills, assessment, differentiation, learner profile attributes, inquiry cycle, etc. Parents appeared to be satisfied by what they saw.

The second group of 6M students visited the Home for the Elderly in Bežigrad today as part of their Service as Action. The students and the elderly had to be excellent thinkers and communicators since they played various brain games such as sudoku, memory, battleship, crosswords… Both the students and the elderly had fun and enjoyed each other’s company.
