THE WORLD SCHOLARS CUP

On March 1, 2016 Danila Kumar School hosted the Regional Round of the prestigious World Scholar’s Cup competition for the second time. Students competed in six subject areas, connected with this year’s common theme Imperfect World. The best teams (seven from Danila Kumar School, that means 21 students) qualified for the next level of the competition – The Global Round. This year it took place in June in Thailand (Bangkok).

Project Kiwanis – serving the children of the world

In the school year of 2015/2016 six students from the national and international departments of Danila Kumar Elementary School joined the Kiwanis project. They teamed up and shared ideas as well as experiences with six students from the International School of Carinthia. They spent the project week in Austria at the Wahaha resort. Ideas were exploding!

U10 Soccer Academy Team

Our U10 football team participated in an international football tournament which took place in Crikvenica, Croatia. There were 40 teams from 4 different countries in the tournament. Our team played against FC Bihać, FC Prvi gol and FC Vođinci. We drew one game and lost two. The players and coaches gained some experiences and cannot wait to go back. During our time off, we went to the seaside and enjoyed the sun and the sea.

Norway Presentation, 6M

On Friday 27th May, Professor Mari Nordstrand from Trondheim University will give a presentation of Norway. The Presentation will take place in 6M’s English lesson: lesson 4.
