As part of Ljubljana’s energy efficiency renovation plan, our building II will require reconstruction work until the end of 2017. During this period there might be times when it will be difficult to enter school (other entrances might be used). We will also do our best to ensure that all lessons will be undisturbed and that safety is ensured. If you need any other information about this project, please contact Mrs Loose at Mestna Občina Ljubljana, who is responsible for energy management.

On 22nd September, as part of European Mobility Week, all grades from the international department, along with some classes from the national dept., took a walk to a local residential area and had a line dance lesson. The theme of 2017 mobility week is clean, shared and intelligent mobility. To start proceedings, the school’s drums group gave a typical vivacious rendition of one of their compositions. This was followed by Ms Čepič captivating the students with her usual energy and enthusiasm for dancing to many popular songs of the day. The sun welcomed us too!

On Thursday, 21 September grade 1 students visited the School Museum in Ljubljana. They had a tour in which they saw how school looked like 100 years ago: barefooted students, wooden school bags and a tiny pencil case with no colours! In a reconstruction of a 100 year old classroom they also participated in a workshop where they created cuneiform on clay tablets. What a day!
