Thursday, January 12th
Another fine, sunny morning and another great skiing day. We have tried all the ski lifts and ski chairs. After a delicious lunch of Spaghetti Bolognese we set off for the Tamar Valley. In the evening we had a talent show with a dance.
PS: All the rooms were tidied, beds made and clothes on the shelves every day. Excellent!
On Friday we’ll see you in Ljubljana.
On January 10, 2017, 3M students visited Ljubljana, and Ljubljana castle as part of their unit of inquiry. Here are some photos from their trip on a cold winter’s day.
On Tuesday, the 10th of January, 4M had an action art lesson. The students first learnt a little about Jackson Pollock, an exponent of action painting, also known as abstract expressionism, then they were let loose on their canvases. The students explored many different techniques, tools and ideas, when putting paint to canvas. They were thoroughly engaged and focused on producing high quality abstract forms full of vivacity and personal expression, and the results were impressive indeed!
WEDNESDAY 11th January 2017
We woke up in a winter fairy tale. It was sunny and wonderful. Skiing in Kranjska Gora was fun. In the afternoon one group tried cross country skiing and the other went on a hike to Zelenci natural park. We enjoyed ball games in the evening.
